My client is an internationally operating company with its office near Zug. Following the further growth of the team I am seeking a new colleague as the

Distribution Account Manager 

This is a key role that supports the ability to successfully distribute products and services through the distribution partner network globally.

In this new role, based in Baar, you will be taking over the following tasks:

  • Act as first point of contact for distribution partners, fielding questions and requests and/or facilitating information via wider organization where necessary
  • Coordinate and ensure the successful onboarding of new distribution partners, including ensuring product and services training, collateral distribution, onboarding to shared tools and processes, and policy training and sign-off
  • Manage all processes and documentation related to distributor management
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual sales reporting with external distribution partners
  • Evaluate distributor performance on an ongoing basis and proactively identify issues, mitigate risks and raise concerns to relevant stakeholders as required
  • Central point of contact to lead or coordinate operational and project based activities, working with the marketing, research, product strategy and business development teams
  • Gather and communicate distributor feedback to the relevant product and business development teams on an ongoing basis
  • Support the company's Sales Distribution team in administrative and organisational tasks as well as ad-hoc special projects as required

In order to comply with the expectation of my client your skill set includes the following: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology distribution or channel management in an international corporation
  • Adaptable work style with positive attitude and a service-oriented personality
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Self-starter, used to working independently but also under supervision
  • Ability to project manage, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience working in a fast paced and agile environment with constant change
  • Confidence to engage and liaise with stakeholders at different levels of seniority across the company
  • Active contributor and collaborator in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with good communication, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Passion for the technology industry and its best practices
  • Strong desire to learn, highly motivated along with a professional drive
