Senior - Internal Audit

I am looking for an objective team player to add value and improve the operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, corporate government principles, internal control framework and a sound judgement. 

Responsibilities 

• Establish the annual internal audit plan which includes a risk assessment across the group but also on a company level
• Independently perform the full audit cycle including planning, financial and operational processes and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and suggestions for improvement
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement 
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk mitigating measures and cost savings that increase shareholder value 
• Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions 
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools and standards
• AdHoc support to business teams when required, at a high level around strategy and risk 
  
  

Experience & Requirements 

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• Proven experience as Internal or External Auditor in Switzerland
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases 
• Ability to process large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports 
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations 
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills 
• Sound independent judgement 
• Preference given to knowledge and experience with IFRS standards 
• Selfstarter with high level of motivation 
• Readiness for some travel activities within Europa
